From APIs to Agents: Building Governed AI Workflows
This session takes a practical look at how AI-powered applications can be connected to enterprise systems and business processes in a secure and governed way. Through a realistic demo, we follow a user request from a conversational interface all the way through agent orchestration, API management, workflow automation, serverless components, and operational data sources.
Rather than introducing new integration layers, the session demonstrates how organizations can leverage their existing APIs, workflows, and cloud services as reliable tools for AI agents. Along the way, we will discuss key considerations for moving from proof of concept to production, including identity and access management, governance and policy enforcement, observability, rate limiting, service boundaries, and resilience.
Attendees will leave with a clear understanding of the architectural building blocks required to create scalable, governable AI solutions that integrate with existing enterprise environments and can evolve alongside changing business needs.
